Mexican-themed Stinky Ball sees same great fundraising efforts as inaugural year. New York, May 4, 2007 — The Foundation for Thymic Cancer Research (FTCR) held its second annual Stinky Ball — aptly named “Stinko de Mayo” for its Mexican-theme — and raised over $120,000 for thymic cancer research. Held at the illustrious Copacabana nightclub, the evening kicked off with a mariachi band and included an open bar, cocktail hour, buffet dinner, dancing and silent auction. The Barbara Neibauer Celebration of Life Award, named after the FTCR co-founder, was given to Dr. Saul Suster, the Professor and Chairman of Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.Read More →

$120,000 Raised for Thymic Cancer Research. Over 300 supporters take part in “Celebration of Life” fundraiser.
